Bonavita Imports started with my grandfather's journey from Calabria to New York as a teen, where he met my grandmother from southern Italy and built our family's legacy. Over the last 20 years, reconnecting with our roots ignited a passion for the region's authentic, underrepresented wines—bold reflections of ancient traditions and warm communities. Noticing their scarcity in the U.S., we founded Bonavita Imports, teaming up with boutique estates in Puglia, Calabria, Campania, and Umbria to share authentic wines from authentic producers.
