Located in Calabria's Pollino National Park in Cosenza province, Tenute Ferrocinto spans 130 hectares in Castrovillari at 450 meters elevation, combining 19th-century roots with updates since 2003. Historic sheepfolds now house cellars, and organic conversion applies to 50 hectares of vines in a protected wilderness. Potassium-rich soils under a Mediterranean climate cultivate native varieties such as Montonico, Greco Bianco, Moscato, Pecorello, Magliocco Canino and Dolce, Aglianico, and Calabrese, with minor plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Wines include Calabria PGI and Terre di Cosenza PDO labels, produced through manual labor and blended innovative-traditional methods. The range covers reds, whites, rosés, and single-varietals, plus olive oil and local products. The estate preserves terroir in harmony with nature, set amid gardens and vineyards.

Training:

Harvesting:
